*If you are not familiar with Doit!'s power...then read my first blog on Doit!: Click Here
So, Let's start on what has been added to Doit!'s feature list.
Here is an image and then a video about player meshes and Doit!..folowed by an image of the menu features.

Here is a listing of added features:
// =============================Start list
- added node options (these selections add nodes to your Maxscene)
- orc compatible biped and node setup! in 1 click!
- player node setup (adds default orc player nodes to scene and attempts to attach the proper hierarchy to bip01 if it exists.)
- weapon nodes setup (adds weapon dummies to scene)
- vehicle nodes setup(adds vehicle dummies to scene)
- added object options(^make selected mesh into on of the following)
- BB::
- BBZ::
- SORT::
- cellShadeTrick (completes the cellshaded trick for you)
- Hierarchy attaching(attaches selected object to selected menu option)
- to start01
- to Base01
- unattach
- Added Notes and reminder system (this is great as it is a quick note keeper and reminder for Torque related information)
- 1 click opens a txt file you can use to store notes
- Several game-datablock reminders included
- Reworked LODME works 100% awesome on rigged meshes! (No more fuddling with LODGUI!)
- Fixed Boxtrick to save uvmapping and pivot location
// =============================End list

I have a question, will it still work if you sub out step two for a custom rig (not biped)? and lets just assume you've already tested that rig as being Torque compatible (for the sake of this question)

Do you have one plan for the vehicles :) Wheeleded,4,6,8 and one for Air Vehicles planned?

@deepscratch: Great to hear!
..Also, I have been torn about the pricing since some people think it should cost more and some people want it really cheap. I am mainly working on this project to help those that want to a-line this portion of their pipeline. The money is seen by myself as a fringe-like benefit. I get more satisfaction from knowing someone appreciates the 'straight-forward get it done now' approach. blah blah blah :)
@Johnny: I am currently looking deeper into the nodes for vehicles...and digging into the depths of the artist's role to see what features can be added that would be used by people. So by all means, make a suggestion..casual or technical. ..I will look into flying setups.

@Stephen: The biped and node setup has been tested as fully orc compatible, it is shown in the video. As for custom rigs, you could use the "add player nodes" menu option...and no, it cannot read your custom rig names to find out what you named the rig's head. I have never heard of any program that can read minds. :P ..so I would use the 'add player nodes' selection and parent the nodes as needed.@deepscratch: Great to hear!

I would apologize if I had made a mistake but I have simply been wondering when you were going to request the license. I have not received an email from you with the hardware lock id#. I have only received one email from you..it arrived at 6:35pm NY time this evening but it does not contain the license information that I need.
I keep a full back log of all emails received and sent; for payments, license requests, support and any other questions asked. Image
..since you attempted to send the email with the license file, please see if you still have the email in your sentbox, recheck the information as certain email clients garble the email address into 1 long string with the subject line and body placement attached as a suffix.
No matter what, I am waiting on your license information to get that to you. Email it to the same email address you just emailed this evening or to the doit_license email address. I'll get you the license file ASAP! ;)
Edit: Emailed you the same post Jim.
@Donnie: Thanks for the feedback!

I do know that Gmail has been screwing-up(somehow losing) international emails these past few weeks. I have come across several issues with a few contractors and "my use OR their use of Gmail".
Could you perhaps retry from a different email address ?
Thank you for your patience...we'll sort this out ASAP.
Edit: did you get an auto-reponse email saying that you would receive your license soon ? ..if not, please verify that you sent it to an email address and not a long string as denoted in the post previous to your post.

By trying another email, I received it successfully. Thank you for your support.
By the way, it seems like Doit! doesn't support exporting .dsq files. Do we have to use existing plugin for it?

Sorry, no dsq export support yet and that actually slipped my mind completely!! I will add that to my list for version 1.0 that I will release this summer.;)
Glad to get your license file to you. Enjoy.

As I wrote in my last e-mail, I need to change the machine to use Doit!. In fact, I purchased a machine with better performance. I tried to request new key on the new machine but no answer yet. As a result, I'm trying a plugin from community now, which gives me troubles.
One more question, in old computer with Max 9.0, when I try to export after quick setting, it gives me error saying that "Don't Know how to save this file type". Can you guess the reason for this?
Looking forward to your answer.
Thanks in advance.

- I have received many fake attempts at gaining a license file from near a dozen emails so I hope you understand my reluctance.
Here is a section of the license agreement that partially explains why I can not give you, or anyone, a "replacement" key:
2.Grant of license: .. .. .. .. ..
If you want to use Doit! with different versions of Max, a separate license must be purchased for each version.
//
Anyways, even if I did want to give you a license...the hardware lock id # that you gave me appears to be from max2010 which does not have a DTS exporter yet(this is probably the reason of your "unknown file type issue). If the # you sent me is not from Max2010, then I suggest you check your installation of Max and/or the hardwareid# of your new install.
--------------------
I apologize for any inconvenience you have encountered but I have to stand solid on the license agreement or else I lose all reason in selling this file.
Anyways, my general thoughts on this entire subject are: If you can afford Max, then $25 for 'Doit!' is a drop in the bucket. If you upgrade max or have a Maxsubscription, $25 is still a small, small, drop in the bucket.
Regards,
eb

I chose to not reply to the email because it was requesting a license file from an unknown email address. I see a similar email in my records but that email only bought 1 license and this would be a request for license #2.- I have received many fake attempts at gaining a license file from near a dozen emails so I hope you understand my reluctance.

I misunderstood your license strategy. I thought the license key is for just one PC, not for one MAX version.
When you got the license key request, it was from the professional 3D artist company to whom I made an order for one character and several objects work. They told me they have problem with exporting. Even though I told them Doit! can be used in MAX version 7~9, it seems like they were trying it with higher version to hear your explanation. To solve the problem, I recommended them to use it with lower version of MAX if they have. They wanted to change their computer for that. That's why I requested a new license key.
For them, $25 can be a drop in the bucket. For me, it's not. And according to your explanation, it seems like that the owner of Doit! cannot be me forever.
So I wonder if you can at least cancel the license for the MAX2010 and newly grant one for the lower Max version for them to use. If you can upgrade Doit! to use with MAX2010 very soon, that can be another solution for my situation.

Doit! can be used with Max2010 ONLY WHEN the dts exporter plugin from GG for Max2010 is released/created/compiled.
- The first license key I gave you was for a pre-Max2010 version, the second key you requested was from Max2010. However, I never gave you a Max2010 license file because only 1 license was purchased.
