InstantAction in a Nutshell

It's been a while since I've posted on the GG blog, but I'm here to give a quick update to what's been happening over at InstantAction. I'll be posting on a monthly basis or so to make sure everyone is aware of what's happening on the other side of the building. If there's anything that you would like to hear about, let me know and I'll do my best to get the info.
Let's do this on a game by game basis. Some of them are familiar favorites while others are from indies that you may not know even existed.
Alphabetical Order FTW! Click any of the URL game titles for more info.
Ace of Aces - An WWI flight combat game from Mad Otter Games headed by ex-dynamix member, Damon Slye. Ace of Aces puts players in the cockpit of Axis or Allies aircraft, while fighting in various game types. If you are a fan of Red Baron or Aces of the Pacific, you should check out Ace of Aces.
Ace of Aces TBA Racer - Luma Arcade brings us a fast paced arcade racing game. You may remember Luma from Mini#37 Arcade Racer which focused on the mini cooper. They've taken the gameplay and revamped it with all sorts of goodies. This racing game will be coming to InstantAction sometime in the near future.

Title coming soon! Cyclomite - Easy to play hard to master puzzle game from Wideload Shorts. The game features a fully fledged single player experience as well as versus and co-op multiplayer.
Cyclomite Fallen Empire: Legions - I'm sure everyone knows of this game by now. Legions has seen many many updates since launch, including multiple class and map additions. Many well known GG-ers are now working on the title as well including Justin DuJardin and Robert Blanchet. Come see how the game has evolved if you haven't checked it out recently. We've also kicked the Legions blog back up. Derek Manning is heading it off and you can follow it here: Legions Blog.

Fallen Empire: Legions Galcon - Phil Hassey's RTS hit Galcon has also come to IA and it's now all free. If you've never played Galcon, here's the gist. Take control of the planets that your opponents have by strategically sending triangle shaped ships. Tutorials will get you started, single player campaign makes you laugh, 8 player multiplayer action is hectic and fun.

Galcon Lore: Aftermath - Max Gaming Technologies has taken the Lore franchise to the next level. Read up on Logan's Lore posts here. These guys are extremely active in the development on the game and are constantly in conversation on the
InstantAction forums looking for ways to improve and enhance the game.
Lore: Aftermath Marble Blast Online - I'm sure everyone knows Marble Blast by now. If you don't you've been under that rock for just a little bit too long. Platforming action based single player, crazy intense multiplayer, and marbles. What more could you want.
Marble Blast Online Rokkitball - This futuristic sports game puts you in control of a rocket launcher and a gravity gun. Using these tools the object is simple. Grab the ball, get it in the goals to score the most points. Rokkitball was developed by GG studios and headed by Alex Swanson.

Rokkitball ThinkTanks - Another classic game that everyone should know. From BraveTree you take control of a tank and battle it out with others using power-ups over multiple game types.
ThinkTanks ZAP! - This revamp of the Z.A.P. that many people know has been reworked by Bad Habit Software founded by Mark Frohnmayer. Many of the features that you loved from Z.A.P. make a return in this graphically updated version plus new additions.
ZAP!
Turns out it's a pretty big nutshell. I also wanted to make note that if anyone has questions, I will try and field them to the developers or get them to respond over here.

But as Logan mentioned.
Every game on this list, with the exception of Galcon, were made with Torque. Very exciting to see all these great games that people are making with Torque.

Wow, how could I have left that out. Due to the long post I guess. But as Logan mentioned.

ZAP! is on an R&D build of Torque provided by GG. It's not TGEA, but it is built upon Torque technology :)

Also to throw a bit of a Torque spin on it, all these games except for Galcon are made with Torque. So it's definately worthwhile taking a look at what these games do if you are at all serious at wanting to see how you can push the engine.
