Assets for Camel Entertainment

by Filipe de Sousa Teixeira · 01/29/2009 (6:23 pm) · 3 comments

These are just a few items created for a Game being currently developed by Camel Entertainment. I've worked several times with them on the past, so they allowed me to put this on-line even before the game was unveiled.
My many thanks for their show of mutual confidence =)

I'm not telling what it's for, but even though both me and the team loved the results, public feedback, specially from other professionals is very much important to me.

Later I'll add all the assets that I've done for the game on my website.
Check my portfolio if you're curious enough for more!

Very nice colorful textures, though I'm curious about the name shield.

Also the top one looks more realistic not sure what the style that you were going for was though. Both are nice, it's just the lower one's border color stands out so much it looks more cartooned style compared to the top.

Also curious about the name shield.. to me the material feels like concrete or tiles.. perhaps I am missing what it actually is without having the proper info! they do look good though.

Hehehehe...

Told you on the post that I wasn't going to say what it was for! ;)

I chose the generic name "shield", because it visually reminded me of a roman shield, although it's not really one.

Andrew: Yup, it's stone.

Scott: You're right, they were developed under different approaches! The first one was only an attempt for the overall shape, as the second one was the final version after new input from Camel.

Glad you liked it ;)
