Hello everyone!

I`m glad to announce that Game Mechanics Kit is Beta now!

Game Mechanics Kit (or GMK) is an add-on for GarageGames' Torque 3D engines TGE and TGEA. GMK provides functionality and tools for programmers and game designers to script and edit the mechanics of game process in very easy and visual way. GMK implements principle of building blocks: create your game with ready made components.

GMK features visual scripting systems as a part of its editor.
You can see how it works on the video.

You can learn more from my previous post or at GMK homepage.

You can also take a look at GMK documentation: Programmer`s Guide and Designer`s Guide .

You can download playable demo with editor from here.

That's all for now. I'd be very glad to hear any comments or answer question on the subject!

Looks Good Yuri. I can see this saving quite a bit of time, not having to start, exit game, change code... etc When's the expected release?

Can we expect it to be cross-platform compatible (Mac)?

Wow!! Fantastic! Are you coming up with a TGEA 1.8.0 version? (Update : I just read the programmers guide it does support TGEA 1.8.0) ... And after that a T3D version? Have you considered selling this as an add on pack at garage games? I really think you should.

I also think you should roll it into the T3D code base and cut a deal with GG. It would definitely be part of the justification for raising the T3D price point.

Really, really impressive stuff. No kidding, its exactly the kind of thing Torque needs to speed development and take scripting (modding) to the next level.

@Julian R
I don't sure about exact day of release but I hope it will be very soon in couple of weeks or so.

@Stephan (viKKing) Bondier
I don't test it yet but I think it will be compatible with Mac. GMK uses nothing but TorqueScript and makes just a few changes to original C++ code.

@Britton LaRoche
Thanks for your words! :) Considering T3D I don't know anything about T3D except it is in active development.

I have a question to community. Is someone interesting in getting GMK for TGE (now we have only TGEA version)? We still don't sure about this but if a few people show their interest we'll probably do a port of GMK for TGE 1.4 and 1.5 versions.

what about pricing? Looking very very sharp, something that will def. help torque players make great games. Wonderful piece of software. I know I'm ordering it whatever the price. This *IS* a must have, period.

Me too, I am downloading the demo game right now and and own TGE 1.5.2 I would love it if you would port it to that, this could really speed development time, listen this looks really awesome, any idea how much it might cost?

TGE 1.5.2 version is already in development.
We'll finish it in a few days.

I want to consult about the price with GarageGames, however, I think, GMK will cost like other similar products at GG Store.
