Not a problem, it was something I really really needed to get done.. right now I'm just working on the particulates in the water portion. You guys did a good job with the original one. I just got bugged because I would come back to a running sim and see some funky distortion. I did that enough to find that it was directly tied to the time someone spends below water and it's linkage to the calculation. So I added what I've used in the past for this and figured, if anyone else here would like to use it I don't see why not. Hell, that one shader gave me the push to actually sit down and go over how the shaders are implemented in T3D in the first place.

Smally,

Very nice. I have been testing your fix and it seems really solid. I am going to update the zip and add it to the final if that is ok with you.

Yup, that's 100% ok.. I hereby donate it. I don't mind throwing in where I can :D On that note.. would you like the GUI for the postfx menu that I added for it? So it can be easily adjusted? I made this as a tab for underwater effects, but I only got around to adding in the distortion, works fine though.

Sure, I have been working on a new UI for all of the post effects stuff. Basically, trying to make it more of 'first class citizen' rather than feeling like it was an afterthought. I will just a similar hook to add in the caustics part of the shader to your turbulence stuff. Too easy.

You can zip it up and send to my gmail.com account kapaun01@ or you can post it here, whatever works for you.

@Everyone,

I have changed the source files to match what smally added. This is a good fix and I will be adding this to final 'postFx' tools.

A big hand goes to him for fixing the turbulence resource. This is what community development is all about! Thanks smally!

Thanks all around, really. I wouldn't have kicked in to it if I didn't see this... well not so quickly at least. :)
