- Summary:
- I have leadership ability, and can put into words what is making a game good or bad.
I'm looking to have my own company, or at least my own team/studio, but right now I'm just starting off small, working on a tidbit or two while going to college.
I've been drawing level designs since I was in the thrid grade. I became highly skilled with the Build engine (Duke Nukem 3D) and have been working to be so skilled with the Unreal engine, though I am but moderately skilled there. I am familiar with Maya, and have lately started to use Quark. I try to work at a proffesional level, and with the familiarity I have gained with 3D design I suppose myself to be able to quickly learn and use any other proffesional tool.
The element of storytelling is another area where I am talented. (Though history has shown this element to seldomly need to be done well for a game to sell.) I have been practicing my writting skills throughout my entire life, and have sought much learning to improve upon them further. I am in the process of writting a novel and earning a degree in English.
I've come up with enough game ideas to be listed in scientific notation, which is why I want to be leading my own design team, but I would be more than willing to work as someone else's subordinate to get the start I need.
