Summary:
Basically it all started with Qbasic, at the age of 10 I found this program on our first PC called Qbasic. It was great, although it felt limited. I always tried to take it to the max, and so I designed my own little Operating System. Then I heard about Visual Basic and C++, I could not wait to get my hands on that software. They were so expensive back then though, my rich friend had a copy and he never even used it. So I would go to his place to play with it. Anyway, by the age of 16 I decided I would work with DirectX, so I started my own little multiplayer game using winsocks. Now at the age of 19, I have played with many Game Engines, all having there own purposes. Torque Game Engine was the game engine I needed, because of the network support. Oh and with Torque Shader Engine coming out soon, it just gets even better.
