- Summary:
- In addition to the brief summary above I worked on my first commercial game back in the 70's - Karkoth's Keep (a commercial failure and a great learning experience.) It's sequel, Isgalduin, actually started out pretty well but the money ran out and I moved out of games and more into contracting to remain fed.
And to clarify a previous mistake I inadvertently put in this profile. I did NOT create the game. I only worked on it. Sorry about that Ron!! (the guy who did create the game.)
I also wrote articles for some of the RPG game magazines of the time, including The Dragon, The Dungeoneer, and Judges Guild Journal.
In the past, I provided material for Andre' Lamothe's, "Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Guru's" and pulled a brief stint as a founding member of the Board of Directors for Post Mortem - the New England Game Developers Association.
I am currently owner of my own small game company, Pariah Games. I help to develop and publish games created by students that I teach at the Met School in Newport and the Met School in Providence. I am also an Adjunct Professor at Bristol Community College where I teach courses game design.
To paraphrase my bio in Tricks of the Game Programming Guru's, "I love fantasy, science fiction, games, teaching ballroom dancing, and my wife - though not necessarily in that order."
