by Adam Schofield · in Torque Game Engine Advanced · 04/19/2006 (7:18 pm) · 40 replies
Hi Folks, thought I'd start a Milestone 4 Challenge, the rules are simple. Just hazard a logical guess at the release date for TSE 1.0 (i.e. Milestone 4), no editing your guess and don't pick a date just because its your birthday. The only prize is bragging rights and no cheating by GG staff ok ;)
My Dates...
Monday January 8 2007 % Increase in Weeks between Milestones
Sunday November 19 2006 Average of Weeks between Milestones
Friday October 13 2006 Just because its my birthday

IGC this year is probably the best bet or maybe next GDC.

My guess would have been...... IGC this year. Same as Michael guess.
the reason being... .. well, IGC would gather lot of interest of Torque or non- Torque Owner also some game companies/universities/goverment-thingy representatives. I believe there would be a lot of media too during IGC.
Releasing the TSE 1.0 during the IGC would show these non-torque people what GG's stuff is really made of, also making Indies (us) and GG to be some forces to be reckoned with :D
go GG!!!!!

From Brian's last blog on a release date...Quote:We're hoping that we'll be ready for a 1.0 release in September. It depends on how solid it's looking. We're not going to release in September unless it's really ready to go.
