How well do the TGE books translate for T3D?

Hey all,
As the title says, I'm curious as to how well the books would translate over for T3D upon release. I have TGEA and I'd love to buy all the books that I can get my hands on, but will they be relevant for the T3D Engine? Ultimately, how much CODE has changed? Thanks for any input.

If you know nothing about the Torque engines the books will help you get a foothold on Torque scripting and 3D worlds in general. The Torque Advanced book covers a lot more topics than torque such as modeling, skinning, unwrapping, AI, etc.

I was just reading this in the, Engines->Educational Use:Quote:Critically acclaimed author Ken Finney is writing his 3rd revision of his best selling book “3D Game Programming All in One” entirely around Torque 3D.

That should be awesome. I bought the Game Programmer's Guide to Torque and it arrived today, can't wait to get started.

@Britt - Nice find. We do not have details just yet, except what you can see: Ken is writing it, it's all about Torque 3D, and I will be contributing to the book. More details will follow after the engine release.

Nice thank goodness. Answers a thread I made about a week ago asking for a book on Torque 3D. I will be on it for sure when it's out.
