I think it's about time we started a show off thread for cool Torque 3D stuff.

Screenshots are great... but a YouTube HD video gives you massive bonus points. :)

Ready... Set.... GO!

@Andy wow! Amazing shots. Probably some of the best looking torque screenies I've seen. Excellent work!

"Yeah, real nice Andy ... now post metrics so we can see polys/drawcalls/fps."

lol steve, its pretty horrid ;) about 10 fps although im in desperate need for an upgrade/new system. The area is only planned as a backdrop for some nice presentation pics if anything.

got a 9800 gt yesterday off bag, and its now upto 25 fps in that area, its around 3m poly's and 650 drawcalls most the time in that scene lol, but yeah my systems only an intel dual 2.4, 2gb ddr2 ram, and 9800gtx+ 512mb so not exactly groundbreaking, and honestly, im happy with that hitting 25 fps and looking like that lol.

3million polys .... yeah, that's gonna eat some fps ... but well done on the low drawcalls.

I've pretty much got the same specs.

yeah the poly's are silly cause i was totally blaze in painting down tree's and foliage etc lol... not atall concerned with how the area 'plays' if its used atall, it would be for screenshots only lol

plus the waters on max details too, screenies just dont do the water justice imo.

oh yeah its also on an overkill 4k square 1m per pixel terrain that tends to spank the poly's up lol. I know that a resolution like that on the terrains not needed for a game setup though ;)

Some screens for Dead State, a game we are doing with Brian Mitsoda ,ex-Troika, ex-Obsidian, Lead Writer for Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

It's an isometric RPG, focused on survival after the zombie apocalypse, with a focus on how humans deal with apocalypse. You can read more in this interview with RPS:

+50 points for the little details in the kitchen. More games need dishcloths.

Nice work Joe! The Deathball desert looks much better now than the boring rip from TorqueX that it was :D

@Oscar: awesome detail in those scenes without overpowering realism -- I like it!

A rather empty scene, but I've grown fond of this picture.

Hehe, yeah, I'm the guy who posts whiteout screenshots and videos.
Curiously enough, looking into the sun mesmerizes me. I can't help it!

Edit: Steve, you're up early. :)
