I think it's about time we started a show off thread for cool Torque 3D stuff.
Screenshots are great... but a YouTube HD video gives you massive bonus points. :)
Ready... Set.... GO!

@ deepscratch -- double Wow! I knew it was good when, as I was watching the video, I forgot it was a video and started trying to move the mouse to view different areas, lol.

Don't want to go over the wall? How about around it...
On second thought...maybe not.
Looking out to the sea...

Just thought I'd post some updated screenshots of my little island map. I've been having some fun with a few of Blender's latest features, and, in the course of which, I modeled and "textured" (extremely rough draft) a cannon and a barrel. Both took about 25 minutes from scratch to their current state of uncompleteness. Don't want to go over the wall? How about around it...

Very nice Jacob. To anyone just stumbling across this thread for the first time, I recommend starting from the beginning!

I love this reflection.
Edit to add: Better with trees, but...would be better if they were green. Oh well.

This is a start of a remake of my basic starter racing game using Torque3D. There isn't much here at the moment. Just the terrain and the start point.
I love this reflection.

For a sec, your bridge looked much like a bridge near where I live.

@ Steve
Thanks. I'll get my trees working eventually and it'll look better.

Hehe, I actually tried to make a bridge that looked like the golden gate bridge. I'm not that good tho. That is an interesting looking bridge you have there. @ Steve
Thanks. I'll get my trees working eventually and it'll look better.

@Kenneth: That is some bridge! It would be great fun to cross on a motorbike, although I'm not sure our family van could build up enough speed to make it across the gaps. =D

there is a comment on that blog saying that most of the stuff that he did for T3D is not going to be in the final release. Does anyone know if this is for real and what is getting pulled. I find this very frustrating. A lot of those features were reasons that we went with the T3D product.

I know you're not the only one who jumped on the T3D bandwagon because of Gerhard's work. However, at least he's shown what is possible with T3D.
