I worked on this mech for a few hours, and I think it came out alright. Not done by any means, but pretty close.

This is the image I used for reference:

I did not draw this!
All credit for the design goes to Maxim Lyulyukin. I'm about as creative as a rock.
So what do you think of it, GG community?

What's the poly count? It looks awesome otherwise. Hopefully by the time you get it all finished, our team will have the Mech Starter Kit done.

It has about 1,300 polygons. That's not TOO bad, but It could use some optimization.

That's pretty good. I highly advise getting the mesh "finished" before moving onto texturing or rigging. Also If you are going to put it into Torque, make sure you have it scaled the way you want it before putting all the rigging work into it.

I'll post updates of the mech tomorrow. I wouldn't expect a texture any time soon though, I really can't texture much at all.

I added some detail to the leg plating, raised a corner on the cockpit, and added a second machine gun.
I also scaled it to what I think is an appropriate size.
Any comments?

Wow, nice. I would also create a Stand by mode posture as well, Im assuming that the mech doesnt stand like that when its turned off, Its aweful tall, even for a ladder, its not like a its a huge mech. that a player can climb up.
