Connecting multiple portal brushes...

I cannot seem to find the topic, but there was one a while back about using multiple portal brushes to mask large areas (say streets). I did a simple test to see if I could connect portal brushes together in a similar fashion that was being asked for in the topic. I did it in a simple manner.

First, I created a basic hallway. Then I changed the ceiling and the "front" to portal brushes and overlapped them with the surrounding walls. This means that the ceiling portal and the "front" portal were connected. Then I carved a door in the "back wall", converted the brush I used to carve with to a portal and expanded it a bit to overlap its couple of brushes. Then I created a large brush and hollowed it to create the larger room.
I used export to DIF and portals seem to be working okay in TGE from Constructor 1.0.3.

I'm not sure what the point of trying this out was except to see if it would work since I had a moment and was testing detail brushes earlier.
EDIT: damn image filenames...
