Help installing video cards in Gateway Solo 1450

I've been looking everywhere...I can't find anything that tells me how to install a video card in a Gateway Solo 1450. I've been reading specs for this thing and apparently I have an Intel 4X AGP slot, but I don't even know what it looks like. I've noticed that there is an Intel chip on my motherboard that says Intel(R) 830, and I'm assuming that this is my graphics chip because my video settings say I have an Intel 830 device.

I can't find any slot that looks like it would accomodate an AGP card. Would a built-in chip mean that there is no way I can plug a video card in? Any help is appreciated!

Isn't that a notebook? If so, you can't upgrade the video.

Hey BrYcE,
Derry is quite correct, very seldom are the video units upgradeable in a notebook. I did a quick search on your model and have found that your model can not upgrade its video.

Hope it helps,

If it's a desktop then you can get an AGP card if the case will hold it. Sounds like it's old.
Any PC or Mac without a .65 nm cpu is an antique (IMO).

MXM is PCIE for notebooks hw spec.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, it is a notebook, and it's too bad I can't upgrade the video card :-(

Acer notebooks with Nvidia 8300M's and MXM slot are like $700+ bones.
