Game Programmer's Guide to Torque book

I was looking at getting this book, but was unsure if it would be beneficial to me. I have the non-pro version of TGB only. Does much of the book deal with the 3D side of Torque or is that a decent amount of that deals with the 2D side of Torque too.

Thanks,
Mark

The most useful parts to me were the sections on scripting and using the GUI system. The CD has a lot of GUI example code too. There are a few other random tidbits of info in the book that also may be helpful to you. It's not really about TGB but since TGB is based on TGE some of it still applies.

I'll echo that sentiment. I found the book incredibly helpful for scripting work. The TorqueScript and the gui system knowledge are transferrable between TGB and TGE and that is what most of the book is about. There isn't too much in there specifically about 3D.
