Lod

Hey guys.

Does anyone know a way of taking a Milkshape source file and applying an auto-lod tool which retains rigging? Does such a tool exist for Milkshape or anything which can read it?

I know this is an old thread, but go into Tools->DirectX Mesh Tools. You can adjust the slider and press the button with the floppy disk on it. Your model will have the number of polys you specify/

You could also nab the latest MS3D DTS Plus exporter. It now supports AUTO LOD which works MUCH better then using multiple meshes or the DirectX tool. It preserves animations, UV maps and everything.
