This is a good idea... but why must it cost money?

There are free alternatives. But $20 isn't that much.

It's a very reasonable price. I don't have a team yet but I do plan on starting a big project down the road. For now, just using it to keep track of bugs and todos is useful. I have a bunch of TXT files right now and I'm pretty unorganized. That and I really don't feel like learning Mantis or whatever..

The reason it costs money is because it is a lot of work to make something like this, especially for only one person, and I will continue to spend a lot of time making it better. Remember, it is a one-time fee, period. Unlike some other project managers, which cost a monthly or yearly fee, once you buy Overlord, you will always have the latest version with no further fees.
I will have a forum up very soon with section for feedback and suggestions, as well as bug reports. Once I can get feedback from the users, the product will only get better.

I know the bug tracker is lacking right now, but that was the last feature implemented before release, so it isn't very polished because I need more feedback on it.The reason it costs money is because it is a lot of work to make something like this, especially for only one person, and I will continue to spend a lot of time making it better. Your demo does not scale well in IE when using the ctrl-scroll feature to scale the fonts.
The bugtracker could use *some* more features.
All the "wtf's" and leet language, makes me wanna puke.. doesn't look very professional.
The minions tool and milestone/changelog stuff looks great though.
