Ah yes, working at Wal Mart really makes you think.

Well I do work at wal mart, and an associate and I came up with a game idea. Its called "Escape from Wallie World aka Wal Mart". The object is to help the costumer's endless ramblings one how he/she must open the box to see if it really matches the item, come up with weird paying methods, and incrediably stupid questions (does this thing have head phones? ). Then you must zone (straighten the place up) before the manager bitches to you. The side quests would to check out the sexy females and rate how good they look, take the paintball guns in the sporting goods dept and have a war with them, and to take the carts and have a demolition derby with them. When its all said and done you take...a gun and shoot up the place!!! muwahahahahahaha! ha ha ah oh...sorry...I let myself get carried away.

So, what do you think sirs?

I have jokingly said on many occasions someone should do SimWork. The same BS happens everywhere, everyone will be able to relate. The question is would playing work be entertaining?

I would only be fun to play if you could take revenge on fellow employees that have been annoying you :) Could this be the next wave of interactive therapy?

Hrm...maybe grab a tire iron from autocare and beat the customers that hassle you? :)

Sorry to post on a thread from the Jurassic period but here it goes....

Don't forget the side quest of pushing carts in the parking lot into curbs using a vehicle! Points could be awarded based upon how high and far you get a cart, how much dust comes off it when it hits the curb, and how much damage you do to the cart, and how much damage you do to other objects.

I've *never* done this of course, so its all speculation

Woo! Almost 4 years there! I figure since the Sims is "playing life", "playing work" should be a big hit too. Of course, it has to be done right, and the above stuff doesn't really sound too fun to me. (except maybe the shopping cart curb launching).

My cousin was fired from Wal-Mart for threatening to chase a customer out of the store with a cattle prod.

I work there too *cough cough*. I know exactly what you mean. I think you might be on to something here. The paintball part sounds like fun.
