Probably because Constructor was developed right around the time Windows 7 was the newest OS. It has not been updated for new operating systems and is likely using code that has to be updated. That's my guess, so there could be another reason.

If you check the constructor log, you might see some errors that lead to the source of the problem.

You should start learning blender it will help you much more in the long run, constructor is no longer supported.

You have a point Duion, about learning Blender. It would help the guy in the long run. but you haven't asked why he wants to use Constructor in the the first place.

For instance, as a lover of the TGE 1.4 engine, I find that Blender doesn't support the .dts or .dif formats that the engine uses out of the box. Somebody somewhere probably has written scripts to support this feature in Blender, but they are difficult to find.

I basically use TGE over T3D because I find it is much easier to script for, though it does have it limitations. I also find it is much easier to debug for and some of the camera movements are much faster than the T3D version.

It is a shame that Torque doesn't update the constructor package as it is a wonderful program to craft in.

I get what you're saying, but there isn't a Torque team that has the rights and source code to Constructor.
