TGE MULTIPLE CAMERAS ?

by james burch · in Torque Game Engine · 07/24/2015 (9:36 am) · 3 replies

hELLO , All TGE Ladies and Gentlemen , I hope you are all doing well , and would like to thank you for all of the help so far .
I am wanting to use more than one camera , I guess a camera within a camera .
the idea is the remote or observation camera thing . I have looked in resources filtered to TGE but , as usually the case I am a bit unclear as to whether or not this is possible with the demo v1.1.2 , without making changes to the source code .
I really like the dif mirror . any ideas or maybe at this point well tried and true ways of using it for a camera thing .
So , again Thanks Very Much in advance . :)

While I am no expert on multiple cameras, why are you using version 1.1.2 when version 3.7 of the T3D branch is free and open-source? Is there any advantage you perceive from using this version?

I suggest visiting the official irc channel, server is : irc.maxgaming.net and channel is #garagegames. The most prominent experts in everything Torque-related can be found there at all times and are exceptionally friendly.

Gee , Mr. Simon Love , Thank You Sir and I greatly respect your response Sir . But . if , I percieve your question correctly Sir , I think that you may have assumed that I am using the T3D Gaming Engine , which I am not , at this moment , therefore ; I cannot offer any reply and , I am sorry for that . However ; as for the venerable Torque Game Engine demo version 1.1.2 , it is a hobby for me and my 2005 celeron D . btw , love strategies :)
Thank You For Your Reply , Sir ! . And Have A Nice Day !

Cheers mr. Burch.
The only thing I can recommend then is ye olde TGE documentation.

Best of luck to you and your Celeron D! :)
