Welcome @Cheesy, don't mind that misunderstanding, there has just been a lot of spam on these forums lately, so people are becoming annoyed with advertisement in general I guess..
Now for my little bit of spam: You might want to check out the newer forums as well: http://forums.torque3d.org/index.php.
There are still some activity here, but imo the main activity is happening on the new forums :) Disclaimer: Yes the new forums are my initiative.
