Custom car physics

Hello!

I'm completely new to 3D game development and I'm currently just trying to develop a custom physics engine for a racing simulator game, from scratch, and then include it into Torque3D.

My doubt is which parts of the engine should be modified in order to work with the custom physics engine?

I've never worked with a 3D engine before and I need a little bit of help in this area in order to start working on it.

Sorry if the question its too broad but due to my inexperience in game development with an already developed engine. I have too many questions and the one that resumes mostly what I'm trying to do is that one...

Hope you can help me a little bit with this!

Well since no one has answered, I'll offer some input. What your asking about is above my ability. I could probably fake it a bit but I think what your asking about would mean changes to the source code. Since you are new to game dev and T3D, perhaps you should aquaint yourself to it by accomplishing something more achievable. Skills will come. Torque has a bit of a learning curve but I love it.

Possibly post at www.torque3d.org as well as there may be more help forthcoming there.
