How to get Oculus Rift support for Torque 3d 1.2

I was wondering how I would even begin getting Oculus Rift support into Torque 3D 1.2. I am within, I believe, 6 months from having my first demo and I wanted to begin getting support for Oculus Rift but I am not sure what had to be done to get it into this version of Torque 3D. I also was wondering if the issues with the GUI's were fixed. The last I heard was that there was a problem with the GUI display. No one ever communicated what the issue was exactly nor if there was a probable fix. If the GUI system has issues (whatever "issues" means) then there would be no point for me to even consider it since this is an RPG. The reason why I want this support is I believe it would supersede some of the eye-candy seekers, and get their support along with those that are purely looking for a fun and unique experience. Thank you in advance for any help on this one.
