Binary Download linking to wrong version

Hello,

I posted this over in the T3D Beginner section, but it occurred to me that this might be the more appropriate place to post it...

Here's the original post:

I've downloaded "Binary Download" version of T3D, via the large button on the T3d page, and found it's not the right version. There is no executable in there. It's basically just the base code which has to be compiled before you can use it.

I've downloaded the binary version in the past, and it came with everything ready to go, no compiling necessary. I tried compiling it, and every time, there's errors preventing any exe's from being created - but that's beside the point, as no compiling should be necessary anyway.

Can whom ever is able to do this, have the correct version linked for the Binary download?

Thanks :)

Its the correct link, this is the build that was sent to GG for hosting. The committee wanted to try a different approach in how packages were deployed.

This page describes how to go about getting the right binaries!

Sorry, that was our bad. Forgot when we asked GG to host our files that the button was 'download binary'. Scott, any chance you could swap the button to point at the Full template download instead? That's the one with binaries.

Source code can be fetches as usual from the other button, or from Git.

Hey Mike,

Thanks for letting us know about your troubles with that. We're going to adjust the downloads to be a little more coherent, but for now, as Dan linked, referring to the wiki's downloads page is the best bet.

Ah, that makes more sense then. Thanks!
