Time of Day + shadows = jitter

Hey Everybody,
I'm running into an issue of my shadows being jittery when a Time of Day object is introduced in the world. I have seen a thread on this problem before but my 25 minute search came up with nothing. Anyone have a link to the thread or a suggestion on how to fix this jitter?
Thanks!

Thanks Richard! This is the exact post I was looking for. Too bad it doesn't really affect the time of day object though.

And it is an issue with shadows, really. Just drop a tree with wind animations and you'll see the exact same "crawling."

I'm not sure it was meant to have anything directly to do with the time of day object - I'm pretty sure that anything with a shadow that moves has this same shadow issue....And it is an issue with shadows, really. Just drop a tree with wind animations and you'll see the exact same "crawling."

I think the whole shadow system is too laagy! thats why you see the jitter.

A 10 minute search of GG found this: http://www.garagegames.com/community/forums/viewthread/127979
Which should be a start.
Perhaps fiddling with antialiasing, either full screen or in the shadow mapping, might help but I'm not really an expert....
