So... What can be safely removed?

Hello,
I swear I remember seeing this asked before, but I can't find the thread now, even in several different searches, so I decided to ask again.
I'm looking to create a basic, clean TGEA project. Obviously, I'd be starting with a new project via the Project Manager. Once that's done, however, I'd like to trim all the fat, all the things that are pre-installed, for the demo missions, etc... materials, textures, shapes, GUIs, etc... so I can start with as clean a slate as possible. Well, except for at least the classic Torque Orc. I wanna keep him :). Good size reference. I would, however, like to eliminate the character creation screen.
It might sound odd, but in trying to create a project of my own, with my own file/folder structure, etc.. I find it very distracting opening folders to already see a ton of other things pre-installed.
So, if there's a list somewhere of what absolutely must be left in place for a clean TGEA project to still be usable, and that I can use as a bare-bones foundation to work from, that would be awesome.
I'm gonna do some digging on my own and see if I can't figure at least most of it out myself. But, a tip in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
