Evening everyone, I am Xyphien. I am currently looking for someone to code a game for me, I have the idea, and it is an extremely simple one at that. It's a basic card game, I'll go into further details if you show interest in it. Currently there is only one game like it, and the demand for another one is extremely high. It WILL prove successful, I can ensure that.

I will need someone who can make a multiplier game where you, and one other person can go up against each other and battle. There will be three types, Normal, Stakes, and Ranked. Stakes is where you, and an opponent can stake cards if you have more than the amount needed for the game (10).

as I said, the idea, and game itself is not complicated, and should not be more than a few months work.

We will split the profit EVENLY with everyone who is apart of the team. Currently I'm looking at only a three man team, I'll be designing the website, providing the idea, and promoting. A graphical artist who will be the person to design the cards, and each card. And you, the coder, to make the game.

If you are interested please send me an email at Contact@AccountantIndustry.com

What would the artist and programmer get paid upfront for the work on the game? There are a number of developers that you can hire on freelancer and such sites, but they will require some sort of upfront payment, which makes sense since they will be taking on a project that may take 1-6 months of their time which they will not be bringing any money in to put food on the table and keep a roof over their heads. Which is usually why projects that offer splits upon completion always fall apart. Real life happens, and when you're not getting paid for something, especially someone else's something, it is easy to prioritize the things that will make you money. Then the original person with the idea ends up trying to work with someone else...and someone else... I've seen this happen on just about every game development site/engine site/development forum that I've visited since 1992. Prior to that, I saw many, many projects fail on BBS's, often leaving a wake of ill-will and finger-pointing in the community.

What are the core targets (PC/Mac/Linux/Android/iOS/Blackberry/Intel Atom/???) and engine technology that you are looking to use in the project? Are there patents on the card rules (this is a big deal with most casino games where house rules at particular casinos and gaming manufacturers are protected)? Have the core permutations been balanced or will it be maintained largely by the programmer both during development or after release?
