Naming a collada animation in 3ds max

I have looked over the forum and google and have yet to find any info on how to name animations when using the collada format in 3ds Max. If I was using the old way(dts exporter) I would create a dtsnode and name it. But the dts exporter can't handle the poly count I am using. Can someone please explain or link me to a site that show how to name and set up the animation sequences in max for a collada file.

Thanls

Unless you can use XSI to create 'Collada clips'(The ONLY program that supports them), you'll need to export the DAE from 3dsMax with 1 animation, aka:'clip', named; Ambient, ..and then separate Ambient via 'script at runtime' OR in the 'shape editor'.

I can not remember if I was able to export DAE and use DSQs..Sorry.

// So that you know how solid this info is;
I went through this with several people including Chris Robertson, In the end I asked them to adjust the docs to make sense and clarify the specifics as it currently floats over the subject with term misuse.
- Most DCC apps use terms that are close to the others but sometimes they do make their own standards..and the docs were written from an angle of XSI knowledge without the explanation of XSI as the source DCC app.
