From the demo (Torque3D)

So I am new to the community and honestly don't know where to post this. I have been playing with the demo for Torque3D and like the engine very much. My future goal is to make a commercial game using this engine. What are the restrictions on the assets that come with this engine (upon me purchasing it obviously). For instance the example tree/grass assets, can any of these be used in a commercial game? Building upon that, is there a general rule of thumb on what can and what cannot be used commercially still in regards to the assets that come with the demo of torque3d such as the textures, models, 2d images, sounds, etc. (and I assume the assets that come with the full engine)?
Thank you for your time,
David

Two questions from this if you don't mind.
1) what is Torque3d_tools_demo?
2) Do I understand correctly, reviewing your previous response, that the assets that make up each of these 4 "demos" can be used commercially in my own game, along with the initial demo/trial (fps level if I recall correctly) level that I had been using to test out Torque3D?

Thank you for your quick response. This community continues to amaze me. I just purchased the license. Upon purchase, I notice that there are a few different things that I have the option to download.("Torque3d_tools_demo" and 4 demo levels, sector, pacific, deathball, and burg, + torque3d_1_2.) Two questions from this if you don't mind.

Yes, they let us use the assets in commercial games. I think the only limitation is that they must not dominate the game, but textures and models are usable if you want to. But wouldn't you prefer to make your own maps? ;)

The tools demo is simply a demo of the editor. It's what you get from the T3D product page if you click "Download the demo".Yes, they let us use the assets in commercial games. Can the art form the demons currently on the front page still be used with the Torque 3D MIT version?
Oh sorry to bump this old thread. I just thought the question still might be relevant for new people as well as me :o)

Will this go along with the MIT version? Can the art form the demons currently on the front page still be used with the Torque 3D MIT version?

If they were included in the MIT release, then yes. Otherwise they are under the commercial license unless otherwise noted by GarageGames' licensing.

Ah that is a shame. The stuff from the Sector Td3 would really be a good starting point for a Scifi game if ever needed to make a city. Thanks for replying :o)

Does this include the FPS Tutorial seeming it's not exactly with the MIT Version?
