behaviours and code not working

So I bought the platformer kit today was doing the tutorials it seemed to have been copied and pasted fine but then when I tried to use the behaviours and code for the tutorial nothing worked none of the platformer kit's code or behaviours worked but every other project works just not the ones with the platformer kit wtf.
