Thread Titles:
Do not use "[TX3D 3.1.5 Beta] Project templates not registered with VS 2008 Pro".
Use "TX3D 3.1.5 Beta - Project templates not registered with VS 2008 Pro"
Also, do not use your own custom bug report format. Going against this will be inconvenient for our QA team, which no one wants.
Thread Body:
(what version are you using?)
Build: 3.1.5 Beta, 3.1.5 Release, etc.
(what platform/OS did this happen on?)
Platform: Windows Vista/7/XP, 32 or 64 bit, Xbox 360
(where is this bug happening?)
Target: Editors, Visual Studio, Xbox 360
(what is the bug)
Issues: When running the installer the project templates and components are not registered with Visual Studio 2008 Pro without the the Express version installed.
(tell us how to trigger the bug)
Steps to Repeat:
1. Install VS 2008 Pro, remove Express and all it's components if present
2. Install XNA Game Studio 3.1
3. Run the installer
4. Try to create a new project in VS 2008 Pro, Project templates should not be there
(if you know the solution, please post it. not required)
Suggested Fix: Have the installer register the templates and components for both versions.
(if you have a copy of your console log, please link to it here)
