Collision and link point editor bug in demo - RESOLVED
by Josh Kimmelman · in Torque Game Builder · 05/03/2010 (9:17 am) · 55 replies
Hello,
I'm running the 2D demo v1.7.5 on a Windows XP machine. The collision editor and the link point editor do not appear to be functioning correctly. The editor window pops up, but I cannot add, subtract, or edit points. Each point I add becomes a giant grey block that completely obscures the source object. Has anyone else had this problem?

I downloaded the demo on May 31st. I experienced the link point editor problem while running the mounting tutorial. I downloaded the PC fix files and all is better. Windows XP home version.

I am also having problems with the collision editor.
Which is also stopping me going thru tutorials to evaluate this
seemingly cool product.
I just tried to download the PC files from the previous thread page...
They are not there anymore?
Any chance of posting them up again for download?
Or is a new release imminent?
Cheers
Matt

@Matt - sorry, we overwrote the file today by accident. I re-added them for you. The download should updated tomorrow morning but I wanted to get them up for you so that you weren't stuck any more.

Has this issue been fixed? I have the same problem, I am not able to add collision points. I am also not able to see the bloody image until I remove ALL the default points.

You can download the new installers from your products in your account. The new installers just replaced the old ones.
