and then the action starts halfway .. from there its supposta not be bad..

#62 I saw it opening night, and there were already reviews that were completely schitzo - some saying it was an action flick, some saying there wasn't enough action, no plot, too heavy, etc. My wife and I totally enjoyed the movie, with one exception (there was one scene we groaned at.) I'll be gettin' 'em all on DVD when it comes out, and will love setting down and watching 'em all back to back some day. But after seeing it, I can understand why the reviews were harsh - each of the 3 movies is pretty much completely different, and the last one packs a lot of stuff in there content wise (Action, plot, mega fights, epic battles, etc.) If you expected just one thing, you may not get enough of it. If you go open minded, I don't think it will disappoint :-)

Funny - I read a post on /. saying just the opposite of Badguy - see the first half, then walk out! Strange how people are percieving this movie.

im so outta date here in the frozen wilderness.

my igloo door was frozen shut this morning.
had to pull out the ice cutter.

then my dog sled team, were too lazy to move.
I had to entice them with meat dangling from a stick just to get to work.

and once I got here.... there were 7 hockey teams in the frozen lot playing hockey.
I had to bodycheck my way across the lot to get to the office.

Just another day in the Frozen Wasteland.

OOhhhh Btw I've put in for a raise!

#72 Yup... Elf has Will Ferrell(sp?) from Saturday Night Live. It's actually funny, and if you like the old Bass/Rankin puppetry (like Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer), you'll prolly enjoy a lot of this one. It's still sort of a typical Christmas flick, but I enjoyed it. :-)

Master and Commander of the Far Side of the World (or something like that) looks good. Russell Crowe is the lead. It's total swashbucklery (is that a word?), although when the ads started saying, "It's Gladiator on the Sea", I cringed. I loved Gladiator, but hate overhype. ;-)

I love Fridays cuz Davis gets to go home and program a butt-load (technical term) of game stuff! ;-) lol

#73 Alas, but this weekend I'm positive I won't get a Butt-Load of game work done. I'll be working this weekend. Of course, the upside is that I get to CHARGE for working weekends, instead of being Slave Labor... er... Salary like I used to be :-) Sunday I should get plenty done, but Saturday will be wasted on AutoCAD drawings.

You aint' done nuttin' till you can't tell what day of the week it really is.........touring rock'n roll, and making feature movies; gives you approximately 4 hrs. rest a day.......:)

#80 I'm going to have a GOOD weekend of development (unless consulting stuff comes up.) Just finished version 1 of a new toy for Torque - an integrated Script Editor. No more entering and exiting Torque (or doing the alt-tab, work, save, exec method) - just open the Script Editor, select the file, edit, save, and exec, all in the engine :-) It's a very good Friday :-)

(I submitted the resource and a screenshot already, just in case someone wonders if I'm releasing it. I'm really proud of this toy :-)
