So parties have not changed much in the USA even since colonial times. They still include:

1. Cosplay of some sort (toga, dressing as natives, and now video game characters or movie characters)
2. A certain amount of vandalism of other people's property.
3. Water are involved to a large extent (pools, harbors, etc).
4. Also pretty sure alcohol may have been involved too. Take the nip out of the night air.

Spent a bit of today realizing you really can take the reference of a hardware register in a microcontroller. Even after you declare on a microcontroller forum that you cannot do that... Then spend some time making a test program that works just fine doing that and posting that in the thread apologizing for the confusion.
