We've got to go Back to the Future!

by Scott Burns · in Site Feedback · 09/29/2009 (5:08 pm) · 25 replies

Looks like the server decided to pull a Doc Brown on us and got back in time to 2/7/08. All posts made today are reading as 2/7/08 now and it's affected the dates of posts prior to today as well, back dating them to previous dates.

Errr ... not from my end they ain't, but they are 1 hour off of local time ... instead of 2 hours off - which is normal for the GG site in the UK.

I am having the exact same problem as Scott. All posts are 2/7 and now, 2/8/2008. I was REALLY confused at first!

thats just so wierd, why would it give us all different times and dates? even if the clock was wrong it would be a at least in some kind of same date or year even. Virus check maybe?

The webteam pushed out a fix for dates that was causing some issues with some regions. Logging out and back in should fix the dates you're seeing and work better in the future.

Looks like my home PC is 2/8/08 as well. At least I'm occupying the same continuity across two computers.

This post was made at 88 MPH and all is well.

edit:
Well, except for the time, it seems to be an hour ahead.
