Why yes I did almost forget to post up this week's Reading. Crap it's sad how fast I fall out of habit.

Journal Land Pick of the Week

Necron00bicon - jjd shows you how to get started with CMake to replace your Visual Studio project files in order to work on your code across multiple OSes that don't share the same IDE

Welcome new Journal Land citizen The_Neverending_Loop!Welcome new Journal Land citizen The_Neverending_Loop!Welcome new Journal Land citizen The_Neverending_Loop!Welcome new Journal Land citizen The_Neverending_Loop!....Oh crap someone throw a break!!

Project Updates

* Once a Bird - Demosthenes has announced his next project: Super Ninja Kung Fu Puzzle - Extra Pow Pow. I approve./li>

* Journal of matt_j - matt_j has a video update to his iOS vector graphics tank game Spectre

Gamedev Stuffs

* Beals Software's Development Journal - Programmer16 links to an open art site with some pretty pixel art free for use by developers

* DruinkJournal - Evil Steve's lesson of the day: before you debug, make sure the "i" isn't really a "j" - or rather that whatever you think the character is really is what it is. Font fail.

* Excursions into the Unknown - Mike.Popoloski now has three tutorials on SlimDX Direct3D 11 posted up on the SlimDX home page - Basic Window, Device Creation, and Simple Triangle

Other Stuffs

* There is no escape from the Washu - Washu was at PAX this past weekend, and sums up the experience he... experienced.

* Any Colour You Like - What's this? More electronic gadgetry from benryves? Shocking! This time, he's adding a parallel port to his Z80 computer. I certainly hope it's not been long enough for people to have forgotten what a parallel port is. Actually, I bet some people still only know it as a printer port

* Digitanks Development Journal - congrats to BSVino on his "Richter Award" Digitanks won at PAX ;)

Thanks for stopping by, Jason Z, InfectiousGames, blewisjr, yckx, Aardvajk
