Today I spent a huge amount of time reading UDK docs, watching audio videos, learning the UDK workflow, and creating workflow tools to ensure that my github repo matched up with UDK's expectations.

Every publisher is talking about free-to-play. EA's Command and Conquer has just turned free-to-play. We have seen League of Legends, Team Fortress 2 and countless MMOs lead the way to free-to-play. Does this signal the end of buying games at retail or eTail?

What do Producers do anyway? Often I've seen the title producer stir up emotions, both good and bad, from game developers. I think about this topic a lot because that has often been my job, but also because game development is complex and I believe a good producer can improve products and help maintain good morale with dev teams.
