My projects

Hello everyone,
As you probably already know, I am a relative newbie to torque and its related products. I do however have some large ideas and am probably biting off way more than I can chew, but here they are.
I have ideas for 2 new games.
The first is a rpg style game that is set in the medieval era. It is a non linear open ended game that allows the player to chose between either human or vampire and play as such. I am hoping to uatilize torque and its abilities to make an expansive area to explore, detailed characters and a simple but exciting combat system. The story line is fairly simple: survive. With it being a non linear story, you can do anything you want, from exploring the vast areas to becoming a merchant or crafter and designing new items to being a combat specialist and even conquering the world.
A list of features that I hope to implement into the game:
A vast 3d environment to explore
Complete character customization both at creation and in game (ex: clothing/armor, weapons, hair style/color, tattoos etc.)
People that stay dead- Lots of games have a system that re-spawn npc's on every loading of the game, which brings back all the people you killed. I don't want that, you kill someone important, they stay dead, and you get hunted for it.
The second idea is that of a 3d Warhammer style game. One that forgoes the traditional base-building style and leans more toward simple, brutal combat. It would take place in the 40k era and would have all the current factions available.
Features:
Many more planets: Something like 50 or so
Customizable armor and weapons
Semi-linear game play aka --conquer all who oppose you--
Vast dangerous worlds to explore
Usable land, sea and air vehicles
Dismember and destroy your enemies (ex: remove limbs, use bodies as shields etc.)
As of right now these are just rough ideas that are still mostly in the planning stages and any feedback or comments are always welcome. Please let me know if anyone else is doing something similar or if you think you would like to help out. Thanks for reading.
