T3D basic to Professional

Not sure if this is in the right spot or not, but here goes:

I am wondering if T3D basic, once available, will be upgradeable to the professional version without much hassle. From what I can see I don't think it would be, but I am by no means smart about this.

Just wondering if anyone knows.
