Depth of Field

Is Depth of Field strickly an DirectX9 shader issue, or can it be done in DirectX 7?
I currently own TGE 1.4

I'm not sure about the capabilities of DX7, but I'm pretty sure DOF needs shaders, and this capability is not available in TGE - you'd have to use TGEA (for which there is already a great DOF content pack).

Yeah, for this you would want TGEa. Even with the modernization kit I think the best you could get would be some sort of motion blur in TGE.

DirectX7, hmmm.... highly doubtful.
