Any comment on the unix platform code added to B5 :-)

I heard a bit of work might be going into getting T3D to work in Linux. Some of this started already as some platform code is now in B5? Either way, good to see it :-).

Ooh, I missed that code, though it's just typedefs which for the most part aren't any different from the win32 build. Would be nice not to have to do the port myself as I've got so many other things I really need to do and Linux support is really just a want rather then a need, but it's probably the same way with GG as they've got plenty that needs done before T3D releases.

Doesn't the Mac build uses the Unix stuff?

Much like the existence/non-existence of PS3 code, if any announcements were ready to be made, they would not be made in a private forum ;)

What fun is there in that. Manoel you are right though it has been there for a bit, just sounded like there was going to be some more official support for linux servers perhaps forthcoming and hoping to hear more :-). While getting the client part running with all the variety of drivers and other fun issues to deal with in Linux, getting dedicated servers running would be very beneficial overall.
