Read posts remain unread

Sorry if that was reported before, I didn't find anything related.
When I click on View All Unread and select one of the listed posts, this post is still listed under unread posts when I return to the forums again. When I create a new post myself, this post is listed under unread posts as well - this doesn't make sense IMO.
This happens with FF 3.5.2 and IE 7.0.
