Is there a resource showing how to enable polysoup on staticShape data?

Title says it all! I am sooooo fed up with collision meshes, I hope I never have to see another one so long as I live! :P
I've been searching for a couple hours and can't find a definite answer. Is there a resource available with directions for enabling polysoup on staticShapeData?

I knew that, I am just looking for a way to make it work by modifying my CPP files. ;)

Apparently, polysoup doesn't get used on StaticShapes because it can't cope with animations and the like. You can stick it in and take it out but you can't "do" anything with it, hence TSstatic only.
