another commercial license question. . .

Hi,
just to make it clear once and for all . . . The commercial license agreement says that if your revenue COMBINED with your publisher's revenue exceed 500K, I have to pay 10K for the TGE.
In fact, this means that I'll never publish with a large publisher without paying the 10K fee, as any publisher even medium sized will make 500K per year. Am I right about it?

I understand that if my company and the publisher make together more than 500k/year I need to get the commecial license. My question is, I have the U$100.00 version , do I need to pay the commercial fee BEFORE I even start to develop the game and make a contract with a publisher, or can I start to make the game in the version I have, and pay it AFTER the contract with a publisher, but still BEFORE the game is launched?
I appreciate any help.
Thanx for the time.

If your company revenues or those of your publisher are above $500,000, then you will need to purchase a commercial License which is $10,000 per title, upfront, for the right to develop using the Torque Game Engine.

If you do not have a publisher yet, and are building your game on speculation that you will sign a deal later, it is OK to use the Indie License as long as your revenue is less than $500,000.
I hope this clears things up for you. If you still have questions, please let me know.

You need to pay when you sign the contract with your big publisher. As soon as you come to an agreement to publish your product, and sign the contract with the publisher, then you need to pay the $10,000.If you do not have a publisher yet, and are building your game on speculation that you will sign a deal later, it is OK to use the Indie License as long as your revenue is less than $500,000.

is $10,000 per title,
