So basically I am just curious if you can load custom sprites with the trial version of the game builder.. and can you add scripts i.e. like in order to move a player around.. with the trial version?

I am sure if i looked a bit harder i would find somewhere what i can and can't do with the trial version but sorry to say i am feeling lazy since its 5AM and i have been up all night..

anyway since i cant seem to get custom sprites to work just curious if that's because its restricted in the trial. Although I can get custom sprites to display within the editor but they don't display when i run the game. which maybe my new image just has to be in with the rest of the images the trial comes with but i haven't tried that yet. and like i said above I am also curious if it doesn't allow you to change or add scripts?

I guess it makes sense to not allow these things in a trial but i was just hoping to get familiar with the game builder and using custom content/ scripting even if its simply just moving a character around on screen before I go purchasing is all.. and even if i can't load custom content and can script I can't seem to figure that out since i can't script to move images that came with the trial? since when i try to edit the game.cs file and save it won't let me save over the file to add my new line to load the player.cs file i created for moving the player as following a tutorial that came with the trial you know the "move the fish" tutorial.

sorry if this is all over the place my brain is fried..

Thanks for your help!
Looking to purchase in the next couple of days.. since I just put a work check in the bank =)..

Oh before I forget to ask! Even though my xbox is fried.. yay! Can you make a game with the game builder and then export to xbox.. or xna.. which is something i would hope to do after creating my first 2d game. I know there is torque X.. but I can't find a download for that.. so I am using the 2d game builder instead..

I can't say anything about the scripts, but I'm almost sure that you can add your own images/sprites on the trial version of TGB.

The trial version is fully featured, but the trial only last 30 days.
