GG, please fix these outstanding issues

Ever since the beginning of the v12, the audio code has been a real mess, and nothing has been done about it. My game in particular is suffering from major audio bugs such as:
1. Positional sounds are NOT positional. They're all played at full volume and evenly across the channels. This can be hack fixed by putting an old openal32.dll in the example dir, but that shouldn't have to be.
2. Looping sounds sometimes NEVER go away. They just go on and on and on. I did a little debugging of this, and I found that the problem is that the sounds play but never get assigned an audio handle, so it never gets in the queue to be destructed.
3. Too many sounds cause a hard lock of the engine. This is especially a problem with looping sounds since they never go away. They just build up and build up until it finally brings the engine to its knees.
My game is so close to beta, and the audio code is one thing that is keeping us from releasing because the audio is very unprofessional. I heard that there was supposed to be a big audio engine update after the release of marble blast, but I have yet to see it, and I've been watching the cvs changelist very closely.
We don't have anyone qualified to be able to debug this, and it's your engine, so I suggest that you guys do something about it. I've posted about this at least 3-4 times but I havn't gotten any responce. Torque is a great engine, but I'd hate to see it fail because no one fixed the audio engine.

It seems to me that this is being worked on or will be soon, when looking at the post with the link. I can sympathize with your sense of urgency but they are only 4 guys.

Oh, hey, I might have some skins for you guys, in a few days or a week or something. It really all depends on if I can take my wacom tablet home; I can't do diddly squat with just the mouse in terms of adding the details and doing intensive stuff like skinning, and I can't take the hours necessary to do proper skin work from my work computers. But hopefully I'll be able to take a day and whip up a couple of really nice skins for you guys. I havem't been following things, so maybe you have already gotten some sweet stuff. :) Anyways, lots of love for you guys. Oh, and pleasepleasepleaseplease, if you need anyone for playtests, my email is mr_luc at llamahunter.com; I'm available any time. I had no idea you guys were this close!
