DTS exporting of multiple collision meshes in Blender. need help.

Since the DTS forums are down (both at GG and jsgreenawalt), I'll ask here.

I have a space station that takes up 50x50 blender units. I scale everything up by 10 before exporting. Since it is so big, the collision mesh is supposed to be very complicated. It has 25 collision meshes. After exporting at the large scale, none of the collision meshes work. The space ships just go straight through the space station. If I export at the small scale instead, the first collision mesh works (a center column named "col1").

I have a space ship with one collision mesh that works correctly.

As far as I have been able to find, NOTHING is different between the working collision meshes and the not working collision meshes. things that are the same: naming convention, convex, single sided, no parents, no children, in the collision detail level, in the right visibility layer.

blender 2.49
dts exporter 0.97b3

I can't roll back to the old exporter, because that had it's own problems with lots of collision meshes (anything beyond 20 gave an error in the torque console).

If anyone wants to take a look at the .blend file, I can email it.
If anyone has any ideas, please respond.
