iPhone crashing / re-installing 3.0 OS alot.

Hello,
This is kind of off topic, but is anyone else experiencing their devices locking up a lot since the upgrade to 3.0 OS? My iPhone (3G) has been rebuild 3 times in the past week now (the hold Home / Reset button down for 10 seconds for iTunes to recognize it trick) and I often get my iPod forgetting that it’s set up for development (from the Organizer window in Xcode).
Now I expect the odd hiccup, but this feels a bit much to me and I’m just hoping that it’s not a sign of my iPhone about to die on me. Well back to watch the progress bar move along the screen and hope the iPhone comes back to life =(
Thanks,
Mike.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me upgrading, but it’s also done the same thing again over the past week a couple of times now, which isn’t too bad except that I’ve got about 12 gigs of APPs, music and videos on the device, which takes a while to restore. I guess I should take a lot of the stuff off, but I do actually use my iPhone a lot (which to be honest really surprised me as I have had a couple of PDA’s and after a couple of months, that was it, but the iPhone is used all the time). One good thing is that the backups seem to store my saved game data which is nice.

@Mike: Yeah, I was also surprised how much I use Apple's PDA. It's far cheaper than any of the nearest competition, and despite the lack of a card slot, it feels a ton more useful. Just a handful of apps missing, which I'm making :)

I haven't had lockups, but I've occasionally had cases where nothing I do (restarting Xcode+device, restarting device+computer, removing provisions) let me upload to the iPod. Full restore was the only solution. It hasn't happened in a while, but has happened once after 3.0 GM. Fortunately the sync seems to remember positions of my apps for now.@Mike: Yeah, I was also surprised how much I use Apple's PDA. Feels like glitchy software to me.

Mine kind of goes into "pseudo" lock up. Parts of it still work, but the settings stop working, and I can no longer connect to Edge or to 802.11G (I can still get to 802.11B...). The only way to recover is to shut it down and reboot it. Feels like glitchy software to me.
