No... DX9 only at the moment.

We're planning on a jump to DX11 as Windows 7 is released.

Adding DX10 support right now is really pointless, since DX11 will be DX10 and Vista backwards compatible anyway.

RTM is July 13th. Then one week later the 20th all systems will default to Windows 7 64Bit when sold. HP and Dell are already offering free upgrades to windows 7 if you buy a computer pre-installed with Vista.

I hope this is something you guys are already working on. please don't wait till retail on Oct 22nd.

Anyway glad to see things finally moving past DX9

DX11 is really awesome. You can request a certain feature level, or simply get the best one available. The feature levels are (IIRC) DX11, DX10, DX9_a (9.0, SM2.0), DX9_b (9.1, SM3.0), DX9_c (Direct3D9Ex, Vista). Then there is WARP which is an optimized, multi-threaded, software renderer.

Really looking forward to the data model as well.

What features do you need on Oct 22nd that DX11 can offer you?

I personally none our current project has such low specs it is ridiculous.

But it just would be nice to see that, "DX11 Enabled" tag-line ready when the OS is. Torque 3D is a very advanced engine. Will be nice to see it at the front of the pack technology wise. And not doing that everyone else did a few years back, and have already moved on to something newer. This have defiantly moved in a more cutting edge direction since a lot of the "old guard" has departed. I remember them arguing that nobody needed shaders even after every other engine had already had them for a few years. It was pretty ridiculous. I'm very glad that times have changed.
